I wanted to slowly transition between paper drawing and sculpture since this whole project advances in a chronological manner (step-by-step process). I wanted to play with 3D collating techniques. The below slideshow shows my step-by-step layering process which I stuck on top of the previous one using a thick double-sided tape and also to ensure that the paper stays evidently separate creating shadows. The bottommost layer is a screen-printed chilli pepper which turned out quite well after a lot of practice.
